Little Ray of Giving

Shining a Ray of Sight This Festive Season

This Christmas, Ray White Queenstown and Ray White Arrowtown will continue their popular tradition of giving with the return of A Little Ray of Giving.

This inspiring Christmas campaign will see Ray White Queenstown and Ray White Arrowtown partner with Happiness House Queenstown Community Centre to help disadvantaged children who may need a little extra light in their festive season.

The Ray White team are calling on the local community to embrace the giving season and dig deep for children who need it most.

“This is the fourth year that we’ve run A Little Ray of Giving and we want 2017 to be our biggest year yet. Each year it’s amazing to see how well our community can come together and donate to such a great cause.”  said Ray White Arrowtown Principal, Richard Newman.

The gift drive is a way to help put a smile on the face of children and families who can’t financially celebrate Christmas and may need some extra cheer at this time of year, and Richard said ‘It’s as simple as can be.”

“All you need to do is drop your gift into the office, you don’t even have to wrap it, we will do that part for you” explained Richard.

Ray White Queenstown located at 1 Church Street, Queenstown and Ray White Arrowtown located at 14 Buckingham Street, Arrowtown, will have their special giving trees out in their front offices and will be collecting gifts from Monday 20th November.

“It’s a really simple way to put a smile on the face of a young child who might otherwise

go without this Christmas,” said Cameron Reed of Ray White Queenstown, adding that ‘’just a small gift can make the biggest difference to families who are struggling.’’

This year Happiness House have expressed there is a particular need for gifts for teenage boys this year.

Ray White has run this initiative across Australia and New Zealand each December since 2012. Last year more than 300 offices across Australia and New Zealand helped raise 30,000 gifts for disadvantaged families.

Let’s beat that number this year!
