Queenstown Welcomes the BMW New Zealand Open

Today is the first day of the The BMW New Zealand Open and runs until Sunday 15th March.  The event is held across two stunning golf courses, The Hills and Millbrook Resort, and has a unique Pro-Am format that brings together a prestigious blend of professional and amateur golfers.

The tournament is being broadcasted live in New Zealand by Sky Television and also in Japan to eight million homes through the Japan Golf Network.  The event is also being broadcasted throughout Australia and around the world with an estimated reach of 200 million households making the BMW New Zealand Open a truly global event.
