A prime lakefront site that suits apartment or hotel development is for sale at Queenstown’s Kelvin Heights.
The 3669 square metre site adjoins the Hilton hotel complex and was part of Queenstown founder William Rees’ Kawarau Falls Station. It’s being marketed as Lot 1 Kawarau Village although it’s vendor Winton Partners NZ Ltd is also selling the adjoining 56 lot Lake’s Edge subdivision.
Local Ray White Agent Cameron Reed who’s marketing the property says the beauty of the site is it’s multiple uses. These range from land banking, to four super homes, 12 to 14 apartments or up to 40. The vendor has commissioned an architect’s impression of a 40 unit development.
“We’ve had interest from people who either want to land bank or develop it” Reed says.
